Wearable Scanner
Ergonomic and Secure Design – The WD2 attaches to an Electronic Hand Strap, providing a comfortable and secure fit for both right- and left-handed users. Available in two sizes, it accommodates different hand shapes and even fits over thick gloves for heavy-duty or cold environments. A quick-click docking magnet and additional securing strap keep the scanner in place, ensuring it stays attached until removal is needed.
Advanced 2D Megapixel Technology – Equipped with Newland’s 2D Megapixel scanning engine, the WD2 can read high-density, high-volume, and distorted barcodes across various materials. The mid-range version allows for scanning from further distances, ensuring quick and accurate barcode capture in demanding environments.
Acuscan for Targeted Scanning – The Standard Range model features a red aiming crosshair, making it easy to scan small or closely grouped barcodes with precision. The Mid-Range version, on the other hand, uses a single red dot, providing better visibility for scanning larger or more isolated barcodes from greater distances.
Daisy Chain Multi-Dock System – The WD2 includes a compact two-bay charging cradle, which can be powered via USB-C or a multi-region PSU. Multiple cradles can be linked together, creating a 4, 6, 8, or even 10-bay multi-dock station. With secure quick-click docking magnets and wall-mounting options, this system ensures 100% charging efficiency while keeping workspaces organised.
