Running on Android 7.0, the Manta has a snappy touchscreen interface capable of running multiple applications at any given time, and the device can be easily mounted on a wall or countertop.
The powerful built-in scan engine is capable of reading both 1D and 2D codes seamlessly, and a 5 megapixel front facing camera comes as standard in preparation for future facial recognition apps.

The Nquire 1000 Manta II uses a 8 Octa core Cortex – A53 CPU up to 1.5Ghz, giving users a fast, snappy interface with minimal lag. Newland’s Megapixel 2D imager with IR sensor also provides reliable scanning time after time.
The NQuire 1000 Manta II comes with a range of accessories to help tailor the device to any scenario, from thermal printers to an external SCR. Dual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are standard, as well as a foldable desktop stand, magnetic shelf stand and wall mount.
The Manta II is able to accept clip on accessories including magnetic card reader and an NFC reader module, enabling payment apps to be run.
