Keeps staff safe and builds confidence.

In light of the current global health situation following the outbreak of COVID-19, our attention is being down towards practical solutions for moving forward in the future.  The DS1 temperature measuring access control, time and attendance terminal from Comet offers an ideal solution.

Temperature measurement

This feature is extremely relevant as business navigating through the current pandemic need to look at managing staff/customers protection.  The DS1 is an ideal solution as it uses infra red technology to read a persons temperature upon arrival.  If the temperature is a normal reading, the terminal will allow the gate to open and access will be granted.  If however, the reading is not normal, there is a visual warning on the terminals 5″ HD screen with an optional audio warning and access is denied.

Facial recognition

Facial recognition enables access to be granted for a positive recognition of staff members to give security peace of mind.  In addition the DS1 allow registration to the accompanying time and attendance software to give automatically generated attendance reports.

Mask conformity reading

Where entry requirement requests the wearing of a facial covering such as a mask, the DS1 comes with the option of mask conformity recognition.  If a mask is detected access is granted and if no mask is detected then access will be denied and a visual and/or audio warning is provided.

Built for business

Versatility is a key factor with the DS1.  An option of a turnstile bracket enables easy entry installation to existing gated systems, alternatively the standard wall or desktop mountings offer a discreet profession appearance ideal for any access point.
